Sample Sale Alert!!

What: Dolce & Gabbana is holding a sample sale at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea. We don’t have any details yet on merchandise or the discounts… The Italian labeled skipped a spring sample sale so we’re expecting this one to be mobbed.  This is what the linelooked like back in March 2011. Where/When:  Metropolitan Pavilion, 123 West 18th St., 5th Floor. Wed, Sept 19th thru Sun, Sept 23rd;  Wed (1-6p), Thurs-Sat (10-6p), Sun (11-5p).

What:   Soiffer Haskin is hosting a sale on accessories and ready-to-wear pieces from the Olsen twins line, The Row. As far as we can recall, this is the first time the sale will be taking place in this Midtown location.  We don’t have any details on markdowns or specifics on offerings. But we’re hoping a few of the handbags will be up for grabs. If we get more information, we’ll make sure to post an update. Where/When:  317 West 33rd Street (just west of 8th Avenue). Thurs, Sept 20th – Sun, Sept 23rd. Thurs-Sat (9-6:30p), Sun (9-5p).

What:  Deals of 80% off retail at the Giorgio Armani women’s sample sale (Giorgio Armani and Armani Collezione). You’ll find outerwear, sweaters, dresses, blazers, tops and bottoms.  Giorgio Armani tops at $99 (orig. $325-$1,295), sweaters at $199 (orig. $1,275-$3,350), blazers at $499 (orig. $2,275-$3,825), jackets at $599 (orig. $2,525-$7,995). What:   Showroom Seven Sample Sale.  It seems like they are having a sale more often than not, but probably worth a trip.  We’ve found cute purses and cashmere in the past.  Where/When:  263 11th Avenue.  Through Sept. 28 (10am-7 pm during the week and 11am-6pm on Saturday).  (The next sale starts on Sept. 29 — just kidding!)

What:  Rent the Runway sample sale which will feature gently used dresses & accessories from designers such as Badgley Mischka, Rebecca Taylor, Catherine Malandrino, David Meister, Nicole Miller. The markdown is up to 95% off retail. Where/When:  260 Fifth Ave. (b/w 28^th & 29^th), Oct 1-6^th; Mon-Fri (10-7p), Sat (10-5p).
